Teaching high-quality Pilates group classes requires more than just knowledge of exercises.
In this teacher training programme, you will learn to teach Pilates exercises in a well-founded, clear, and contemporary way—with confident communication, professional understanding, and a trained eye for participants.
Base price €750
Additional costs arise for participation in Pilates classes, as well as for making up sessions if any are missed.
Location: Studio Barre Süd, Leipzig-Connewitz
Online participation is not possible.
Scope: 40 hours of in-person instruction plus additional practice and self-study time.

Time commitment
In addition to the in-person sessions, further time will be scheduled for teaching practice, observations, study groups, and joint practice.
As a guideline, at least the following hours should be planned:

05.09.2026 + 06.09.2026: Beginner exercises, structuring a class
19.09.2026 + 20.09.2026: Intermediate exercises, integration of principles, use of small equipment
24.10.2026 + 25.10.2026: Advanced exercises
14.11.2026 + 15.11.2026: Review, practice, and exam
28.11.2026 + 29.11.2026: Alternative dates
Each session takes place in the afternoon.
In this training, you will learn the Pilates repertoire on the Reformer and develop a trained eye for posture, movement quality, and precise execution.
This modern, well-founded approach emphasizes critical thinking and openness to different methods. After completion, you will be able to professionally teach both traditional and dynamic classes.

At least 1 of the following 3 requirements must be met:
In addition, language skills in German (fluent) and English are required, as well as at least 20 hours of experience as a participant in Reformer classes (traditional and dynamic).

23.01. + 24.01.2027: Cueing and communication, sequencing
06.03. + 07.03.2027: Intermediate exercises and modifications
03.04. + 04.04.2027: Advanced exercises, teaching with music
24.04. + 25.04.2027: Teaching practice, exam preparation
08.05. + 09.05.2027: Alternative dates and/or additional practice sessions
